The film was extensively shot in Mumbai and Goa. The Muhurat shot was pictured in August 2011 and the regular shooting commenced on 2 September 2011 at Shamshabad airport in Hyderabad. The second schedule began in Mumbai on September 18, where Mahesh Babu joined the crew Filming was held for 74 days and completed on 10 December 2011.
Dubbing works were done in Shabdalaya Studios. It was revealed by Puri Jagganadh that the film would be dubbed into Tamil and Malayalam languages and that they will be released 26th January 2012.The first look and teaser trailer of the film were released on 11 November.
